About
P.S. IDEA |
|
Who we are: We are a parent-driven grassroots advocacy organization based in Morgantown,
Monongalia County, West Virginia.
|
|
What we believe:
-
We believe that the ultimate goal of public education
is the development of responsible, caring adults who each contribute to
society using their individual talents.
-
We believe that EVERY student
is capable of achieving this goal.
-
We believe that the inclusion of
students with differing abilities (both in their neighborhood schools and in
the regular classroom) is the most efficient and effective way of
accomplishing this goal for ALL students.
|
|
What we do:
-
We help parents understand their
rights and the rights of their kids.
-
We help teachers find the
resources and support to make inclusion successful.
-
We promote dispute resolution at
the lowest possible level.
-
We provide feedback regarding
public policy at every opportunity.
-
We work in synergy with other
advocacy organizations.
-
We listen. We learn.
We adapt. And, we VOTE!
|
|
When we meet: To be determined.
